Delay or cancellation of the wedding is covered in the following cases:
- Unavailability of the bride, groom, their parents, their children, their grandparents, their brothers and sisters, and their bridesmaids and groomsmen due to death, accident, illness or incarceration
- Unavailability of the venue in which the ceremony was to take place
- Loss of the job of the bride and/or groom due to layoff
- Prevention of access to or departure from the site of the ceremony or reception or the transport stations or airports to get there by the local authorities
